OttomanSlap – Privacy Policy
Effective date: 18 October 2026 · OttomanSlap for Android and iPhone (Google Play and App Store: com.harliogames.ottomanslap)
This privacy policy explains how OttomanSlap, a mobile game developed and published by HarlioGames, handles information. It applies only to OttomanSlap; other HarlioGames games and the harliogames.com website have their own privacy notices.
Who we are
OttomanSlap is developed and published by HarlioGames (“HarlioGames”, “we”, “us”). Under data protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR and Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), HarlioGames is the data controller for the limited personal data described under “If you contact us”.
Privacy contact: info@harliogames.com
Information stored on your device
To make the game work, OttomanSlap saves the following only on your device, in storage that Android or iOS reserves for the app:
- Game progress: best distance and score, in-game akçe (coins), slap and run counts, run records with the date of each run, missions, outfits, boosts and the daily-gift status.
- Settings: sound, music and voice volume, vibration and graphics options, and whether you have already seen the tutorial and hints.
- A technical error log: each time the game starts it records the app version, device model, Android or iOS version, graphics processor, memory size and screen resolution, and it adds a timestamped entry when an error occurs. The file is kept small and older entries are rotated out automatically. On iPhone it is kept in a cache folder that iOS does not include in backups.
- Technical identifiers of the game engine: the Unity engine keeps a random installation and session identifier in the game’s settings storage. They are not linked to you or to your device’s identifiers and they never leave your device.
None of this includes your name, contact details, location, photos, contacts or device identifiers, and none of it is sent to us. The game reads the device clock only to date your run records and to decide when the daily gift is available; these dates stay on your device.
Information we do not collect
- No account, sign-in or registration of any kind.
- No name, email address, phone number or other contact details from within the game.
- No location, contacts, photos, media, files, camera or microphone access.
- No advertising ID (Android advertising ID or Apple’s IDFA) or other device identifiers, and no tracking: the game does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. The game contains no advertising.
- No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services. Unity’s online services, such as Unity Analytics and Cloud Diagnostics, are switched off.
- No in-app purchases or payment information. Akçe, outfits and boosts are earned by playing and have no real-money value.
Permissions
On Android, OttomanSlap requests a single permission: vibration (android.permission.VIBRATE), used for haptic feedback during play. It does not request the internet permission or any other permission.
On iPhone, the game asks for no permissions; haptic feedback does not need one. It does not ask for access to location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, Bluetooth or tracking.
You can turn vibration off in the game’s settings.
Third-party components and services
OttomanSlap is built with the Unity game engine (Unity Technologies); on Android it also uses Google’s Android Games frame-pacing library for smooth rendering. These components run entirely on your device; because the game has no online features, they do not send data to Unity, Google, Apple or anyone else. The game contains no advertising, analytics, social-media or payment SDKs.
If you download OttomanSlap from Google Play, Google processes information about your account, the download and your device under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). If you have allowed Android to share usage and diagnostics data, Google may give us aggregated statistics and technical crash reports for the game through Google Play Console; we use them only to find and fix problems.
If you download OttomanSlap from the App Store, Apple processes information about your Apple Account, the download and your device under its own privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may give us aggregated usage statistics and crash reports for the game through App Store Connect; we use them only to find and fix problems.
If you test a pre-release version through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple shares with us the information described in its TestFlight terms, for example the email address you were invited with and any feedback, screenshots or crash reports you choose to send. We use it only to test and improve the game.
If Android backup is turned on, Android may include the game’s on-device data in your device backup in your Google account. On iPhone, if iCloud Backup or a computer backup is turned on, iOS may include the game’s progress and settings in your device backup. Backups are managed by Google or Apple and your device settings; we cannot access them.
The game contains one link: to this privacy policy (AYARLAR › HAKKINDA › GİZLİLİK POLİTİKASI). It opens in your web browser; that visit is covered by the harliogames.com website notice, not by the game.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell, rent or share personal data, and we have no access to the information the game stores on your device.
Data security
Because the game does not send data, no game data is held on our servers. On your device, the game’s data is kept in app-specific storage that Android or iOS isolates from other apps. Anyone who can use your unlocked device may be able to see or change it, so we recommend protecting your device with a screen lock. Email you send us is handled by our email provider, which uses standard encryption in transit where the sending provider supports it.
Data retention and deletion
- Data stored by the game stays on your device until you delete it.
- To delete it, clear the app’s storage (Android Settings › Apps › OttomanSlap › Storage › Clear storage) or uninstall the game. This permanently removes your progress, settings and the error log.
- On iPhone, delete the app (touch and hold the OttomanSlap icon › Remove App › Delete App). This permanently removes your progress, settings and the error log from the device. “Offload App” keeps the game’s data.
- Copies in an Android backup can be managed or deleted in your Google account and device backup settings; copies in an iCloud or computer backup in your Apple Account and backup settings.
- If you email us, we keep the correspondence only as long as needed to answer and resolve your request, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to write or attach — for example the error log, if you decide to send it to help us fix a problem. We use this only to reply to you and to resolve your request. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your message (GDPR Article 6(1)(f); KVKK Article 5(2)(f)). Our email provider may process messages on servers located outside your country.
Children’s privacy
OttomanSlap is not directed at children under 13. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children: it has no accounts, chat, social features, advertising or internet access. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR (EU and UK), KVKK (Türkiye) and US state privacy laws give you rights over your personal data: to access, correct or delete it, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to complain to a data protection authority — in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), in the EU or UK your local supervisory authority. Because OttomanSlap does not collect personal data, these rights mainly concern email you have sent us.
To exercise any of these rights, email us; we reply within 30 days: info@harliogames.com
Changes to this policy
If the game’s data practices change — for example if a future version adds online features — we will update this policy before that version is released, publish it at this address and change the effective date above.
